This year the Lord Mayor’s Tea Dance takes place on Sunday January 26th at 3pm in City Hall
This event brings together ‘Young at Heart’ to celebrate in style in the beautiful surroundings of City Hall,
The floor in City Hall is one of the only ‘sprung’ ballroom floors in the country, thus making it ideal to dance the afternoon away to the sounds of Evelyn Grant and the Cork Pops Orchestra, who with vocalist Bernard Curtin will charm the audience with numbers ranging from ‘Sinatra Style’ big band numbers to the magical Viennese Strauss waltzes.
I would ask you to let community associations and active retirement groups know about this ‘fun’ event.
Tickets €10 are available in Pro Musica.
In addition to having a great afternoon will will have a raffle which will raise a considerable sum to be shared between ‘Cork Penny Dinners; and St. Lukes Home.
